What a great time we had - brightened up the cold winter evening! Managed to avoid the 'Drainpipe of Doom' this time... Lookong forward to the mext Event when we'll be doing the story of Joshua bringing down the walls of Jericho - CRASH!!

Getting the 'Drainpipe of Doom' for two consecutive events! I think I'm being picked on!! Don't for get that the next X-site has changed date to the 30th January, when Rose will be telling us how Jesus chose people to help him tell others about God.

Wasn't it great to have an X:site event straight after starting school again! Well done for those who brought their friends. Sorry to lose all the previous year 6 kids as they moved up to senior school. Don't forget to encourage those who have just started year 3. Must get back to finishing my collage...

X:site in May

What a teriffic time again! We played 'pass the parcel', and after watching a movie clip we saw that God's gifts are GOOD gifts and how the Holy Spirit can change us to be more loving, kind, gentle and patient. Wow, I feel better already!

 
X:site Newbury grows

What a great time we had on Saturday! Even more children came along we had to add a second event area to make room for more groups. We covered the theme of Christians and forgiveness and Rose told the story of the notorious prisoner called Barabbas. Why not look at our 'What Christians Believe' page?

 
First Newbury X:site a huge success!!
Saturday 24th January 2009

Newbury's first X:site Event on Saturday 24th January was a great success with 60 - 70 children having a fanstastic time. The Mayor stopped by to encourage everyone and congratulated the Team. We're all looking forward to the next X:site Event on 21st March.
